UCLA's Jesus Bot Stuns with Biblical Accuracy

The analysis of popular Jesus chatbots revealed varying degrees of understanding and responses, with some providing accurate biblical references and others struggling to comprehend complex queries. For instance, the "Jesus Bot" developed by the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), demonstrated a strong grasp of Christian doctrine, while the "BibleBot" from the Vatican's Pontifical Academy of Sciences provided insightful explanations on Catholic teachings. However, the "Jesus Chatbot" created by a team at the University of Edinburgh showed a lack of understanding when asked about the historical context of Jesus' life. The analysis also highlighted potential risks, such as the spread of misinformation and the potential for AI to be used in manipulative or deceptive ways, as seen in the case of the "Jesus Bot" developed by a company called Deepgram, which was criticized for its handling of sensitive topics like abortion.

Google's AI Push Hurts News Sites Traffic Plummet

Google's AI push and summaries have led to a decline in search traffic for major publications, with evidence showing significant dropoffs in visitors coming from links served by Google.
