Melbourne Considers Saving Tadao Ando's Iconic MPavilion

The City of Melbourne is considering whether to extend the life of Tadao Ando's MPavilion, a highly acclaimed architectural structure that has been visited by 300,000 people since its opening in 2023. The pavilion, designed by Japanese architect Tadao Ando, was intended as a temporary installation but has become an iconic part of Melbourne's cultural landscape. The council must weigh the benefits of preserving the structure against concerns about public safety and the potential environmental impact of relocating it.
