Trump Considers Aid to Ukraine Amid Russia Tensions

US President Donald Trump is considering providing additional aid to Ukraine amid growing frustration with Russia, following his imposition of new tariffs on the European Union and Mexico. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has praised Trump for his support of Israel, saying he "cuts through the fog" on issues related to Hamas. However, Netanyahu also warned that if a ceasefire deal with Hamas isn't reached within 60 days, Israel will use force. Meanwhile, Russia's Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov met with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un in Wonsan, emphasizing an 'invincible fighting brotherhood' between the two nations.

798 Killed Seeking Aid in Gaza Crisis

The UN-led aid delivery network in Gaza has been effectively sidelined by a new US- and Israel-backed organisation called the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF). Since May, at least 798 people have been killed while seeking aid, including 615 near GHF sites. The UN has described this as "unacceptable" due to reports of Israeli forces firing on civilians waiting for aid. The Israeli military denies these allegations, claiming that militants are responsible for attacks on aid centres. Tensions remain high as truce talks continue, with Hamas willing to release 10 hostages taken during its attack on Israel in October 2023 in exchange for a ceasefire and Israel's withdrawal from Gaza.

Habiburokhman, a representative, has stated that live broadcasts of meetings and debates are now available on the official YouTube channel, allowing for public access to the discussion process. However, technical challenges have hindered real-time updates, with changes requiring coordination among multiple teams. To address this, Habiburokhman announced that previously private meetings will be made public, and the Law Commission has gathered input from 53 groups representing diverse backgrounds, shaping the bill's 1,676 issues for discussion with the government.
