AI Bolsters Cybersecurity Against Evolving Threats with MixMode Solutions

Published on 5.8.25

The increasing use of artificial intelligence (AI) is transforming the cybersecurity landscape as organizations in critical infrastructure, SLED, and federal sectors are leveraging AI to counter evolving cyber threats. A recent survey by the Ponemon Institute found that these organizations are adopting AI-powered solutions to stay ahead of sophisticated attacks. According to MixMode, a leader in AI-powered cybersecurity, their study revealed a surge in AI adoption among IT and security professionals. Many organizations are implementing pre-emptive defenses using AI to anticipate and prevent attacks before they occur. This shift towards AI-driven cybersecurity is driven by the growing threat of cybercriminals exploiting weaknesses across complex supply chains. Richard Horne, CEO of the UK National Cyber Security Centre, notes that while AI-powered solutions are becoming increasingly prevalent, there remain persistent challenges in integrating legacy systems and finding sufficient expertise in AI-powered cybersecurity. Despite these hurdles, organizations are recognizing the importance of adopting AI to stay ahead of emerging threats and protect their critical infrastructure.
