Indonesian Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi stated that Jakarta demands Israel adhere to international law, cease violence, and end its occupation in Palestine. Malaysia's Foreign Minister Mohamad Hasan has echoed these sentiments, urging ASEAN to take collective action against Israel.
The conflict has resulted in significant humanitarian crises, including the targeting of hospitals by Israeli forces. Hospital Director Dr. Marwan al-Sultan reported that the Indonesian Hospital in northern Gaza was directly targeted, trapping around 55 people inside.
