India Condemns Pakistan's Terrorist Sponsorship

Published on 6.2.25

India has taken its campaign against Pakistan's alleged sponsorship of terrorism to the global stage, highlighting the country's zero-tolerance policy and seeking international unity in combating the menace. The Op Sindoor outreach campaign aims to present a unified front with foreign countries. The campaign follows a recent escalation of tensions between India and Pakistan, which led to a brief conflict in May. On May 6-10, India launched unprovoked attacks on civilians in Pakistan, killing 40 people, including 7 women and 15 children, and injuring 121 others. This incident was highlighted by Counsellor Saima during a UN Security Council briefing. India has launched a global diplomatic offensive against Pakistan over its alleged sponsorship of terrorism. Indian MPs have briefed international partners on India's response to the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack, which targeted Hindu pilgrims. The appointment of Asim Munir as head of Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) has added fuel to the ongoing tensions between the two nations and emphasizes the need for international cooperation in combating global terrorism. This development has sparked questions about Pakistan's continued support for terrorist groups like the Fitna Al Khawarij (TTP) and Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA), which India claims are backed by Islamabad.
