The rapid growth of artificial intelligence (AI) has been a defining trend in recent times, with various applications and innovations emerging across different sectors. OpenAI's ChatGPT has been at the forefront of this growth, reaching over 700 million images created by users in under two weeks after its launch and boasting an impressive 130 million active users. One notable aspect of ChatGPT is its ability to generate images and videos in various styles, including those reminiscent of Studio Ghibli. This feature has been a major draw for users, with CEO Sam Altman mentioning the possibility of compensating artists for their work in specific styles using prompts that could trigger payments if an artist opts-in. OpenAI's new multimodal model, GPT-4o, is also making waves in the AI community. This model can handle multimodal input simultaneously, making it a significant upgrade from its predecessor, GPT-4, which will be retired on April 30, 2025.
