Pakistan's Education System Adapts to AI Era

In Karachi, over 400 principals from schools across Sindh gathered at a convention organized by Direction Education Network and Depth Publications, where they shared their concerns about AI's impact on the education system. Muhammad Shabbir Jafar, head of the organization, emphasized the need to modernize the education system with updated technology to remain competitive in the modern world. The provincial action plans presented at a national workshop aimed to institutionalize district-level capacity-building nationwide, demonstrating a concerted effort to address the challenges posed by AI. Experts warn that without significant investment and reform, the education system in Pakistan may struggle to keep pace with the rapidly evolving world.
