The Bucharest National Opera has announced its diverse lineup for the upcoming year, featuring both local and international companies. This includes the Romanian National Opera Iași and Hungarian Opera of Cluj-Napoca from within the region.
Notably, the program will feature a range of productions, including four fully staged operas, three ballets, one operetta, one musical, and one opera in concert. Among these performances are notable titles such as Nabucco, Cinderella, Faust, and Jesus Christ Superstar. The diversity of the lineup reflects the rich cultural heritage of Romania.
The Bucharest National Opera's season will also feature a production of "Nabucco", a classic Verdi opera that has been a staple of the company's repertoire for years. Another highlight is the ballet "Cinderella", which promises to be a visually stunning and technically impressive performance.
In addition, the opera house will host guest performances by Maria Bieșu National Opera and Ballet Theatre from Chișinău in Moldova and Ruse Opera from Bulgaria, showcasing the diversity of talent from across the region.
