The UAE has facilitated an agreement between Israel and itself to permit the delivery of emergency humanitarian aid to Gaza. This comes after a meeting between Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar in Abu Dhabi. The aid package includes food supplies, bakery equipment, infant care essentials, and medical items.
This shift in relations is significant, as it marks one of the first instances of humanitarian cooperation between Israel and the UAE since their normalization agreement last year.
