Abu Dhabi is setting global standards for AI adoption through institutions like AIATC, ATRC, TII, and others. The emirate has seen a surge in 150 new AI companies launched from January to June 2025, driven by strategic investment and demand. Shamis Ali Khalfan Al Dhaheri attributes this growth to a vibrant community of entrepreneurs, scientists, and global leaders who recognize Abu Dhabi as a hub for groundbreaking technology ventures. The Abu Dhabi Chamber's new strategic roadmap (2025-2028) focuses on ease of doing business, policy advocacy, and ecosystem connectivity, giving the emirate a competitive edge in AI innovation. Abu Dhabi has emerged as the fastest-growing centre for artificial intelligence in the Middle East and North Africa, driven by strategic investment, advanced infrastructure, and cross-sector demand. The UAE has made significant strides in establishing itself as a regional and global hub for artificial intelligence, with the launch of the UAE Artificial Intelligence Strategy 2031 aiming to increase AI's contribution to 14% of GDP by 2031.
