Benin Bronzes Return Home to Cotonou Museum

  The Benin Bronzes, a collection of over 1,000 bronze plaques, have been declassified and will be transferred to the National Museum in Cotonou, Benin, as part of a deal with the British Museum. The agreement was reached after years of negotiations between the two institutions, with the aim of repatriating the artifacts to their country of origin.
