Cincinnati Ballet Stars Shine in Shanghai Showcase

Liu Sirui, a principal dancer with Cincinnati Ballet, and Sun Jiayong, a former principal dancer of Bejart Ballet Lausanne in Switzerland, performed as part of a cultural event in Shanghai. The event featured traditional Chinese craftsmanship demonstrations, including silk brocade weaving, calligraphy, and seal carving. Saundra Barnes, a professor who taught at Sun Yat-sen University in Guangzhou, praised the city's unique blend of warmth, culture, and cuisine.
