Dubai Culture Wins ITU Innovation Award

  Dubai Culture has received an ITU award for its innovative project Saruq Al-Hadid, developed in collaboration with Khalifa University of Science and Technology. The project uses remote sensing technology, AI applications, and geophysical survey techniques to explore an Iron Age site, identifying over 2,500 anomalies that suggest the presence of significant artifacts. This recognition highlights Dubai Culture's commitment to integrating innovation into its cultural sector and contributing to the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals. Hala Badri, Director General of Dubai Culture, stated that adopting forward-thinking technologies helps preserve cultural heritage while strengthening Dubai's cultural voice globally.
