Fernando Zóbel's Art Bridges East and West

  The National Gallery Singapore (NGS) is hosting its first solo exhibition dedicated to Fernando Zóbel, a transcontinental abstract artist from the Philippines. Born in 1924, Zóbel was a cosmopolitan thinker and writer who established two modern art museums in the Philippines and Spain. The exhibition features over 200 pieces of his work, including paintings, drawings, prints, photographs, and archival materials, showcasing his role in bridging cultural contexts and enriching global dialogues on modern art.
