Hermès Wins NFT Trademark Lawsuit Against Mason Rothschild

Hermès has won a lawsuit against Mason Rothschild, the creator of MetaBirkins NFTs, with a jury ruling that his digital handbags are subject to trademark law. Sotheby's global chairman Brooke Lampley is leaving the company at the end of the month to join Gagosian, while the auction house plans to pay $100m for the Whitney Museum's Marcel Breuer building, which it expects to move into in 2025.
