The INKSIDE: Zineyard event was a final-year project by IACT College diploma students from various courses that came together to create an artsy event. The idea was sparked by lecturer Farah Izyan, who noted the lack of zine fairs in Malaysia. The event featured 25 local artists, including notable names like Katun and Kendylife, showcasing their art, merchandise, and zines. The fair supported a growing community movement, allowing students to highlight their individual strengths and creativity. Attendees praised the event for its welcoming atmosphere and eye-opening panel discussions. The strong turnout reflects a growing interest in zine culture, suggesting it has the potential to become a lasting part of Malaysia's creative scene.
