IndigiPalooza Celebrates Native Voices in Missoula
Published on 7.22.25
The IndigiPalooza event at the Missoula Public Library on August 1-2 will bring together over a dozen Indigenous artists, musicians, writers, and creators for panel discussions, live music, an art market, and a traditional foods cooking demonstration. The event aims to provide a platform for Native voices to be heard among themselves, addressing the lack of representation at other events. Joy Harjo, the first Native American U.S. Poet Laureate, will kick off the event with a poetry reading and discussion. Other highlights include panel discussions on Indigenous storytelling, entrepreneurship, and poetry, as well as performances by Native musicians Foreshadow and Supaman.
