A pilot project in Jaipur, India, led by Agriculture Minister Dr Kirori Lal Meena, has successfully combined drone-based cloud seeding with artificial intelligence (AI) to create artificial rain. The initiative, developed by US-based firm Gen X AI and Bengaluru-based company, used an AI-powered platform called "Hydro Trace" to identify suitable clouds for seeding using real-time data, satellite images, and sensors.
