James Stunt Faces Winding-Up Petition Over £170,000 Debt

Published on 7.4.25

James Stunt, who owns at least 75% of Stunt Acquisitions Ltd, is facing a winding-up petition due to unpaid business rates of over £170,000 for occupying offices in Leconfield House, Mayfair. The company's directors are disputing the accuracy of the petition, with one director claiming it contains factual errors. This comes after Stunt was previously accused of creating a bogus email purporting to be from art expert Nicolas Descharnes to authenticate a fake Salvador Dali painting. Stunt's business is now on the verge of liquidation due to unpaid debts.
