The Asian Modern Symphony Orchestra's debut concert in Hong Kong featured works by Hosokawa Toshio and Shin Donghoon, with pianist Bruce Liu joining the ensemble as a guest star. The high point of the performance was a poignant rendition of Tchaikovsky's Piano Concerto no 2 in G major, where Liu added depth to the ethereal interplay between principal violinist Gyoon Kim and cellist Joonho Shim through his tactful piano accompaniment.
