Tech firms are aggressively poaching top talent from rivals in the AI sector, with Facebook's Mark Zuckerberg reportedly offering million-dollar deals to lure developers away from OpenAI, where ChatGPT was created. Microsoft's AI division, led by Mustafa Suleyman, has gained several new hires from Google, while Tesla is seeking Elon Musk's expertise as it shifts focus to AI and robotics. Musk, who recently stepped back from politics after serving as Donald Trump's adviser, will receive a significant share award for his work on xAI's next-generation language model, Grok 4, which has secured a $200m deal with the Pentagon.
