The University of Melbourne hosted the Australia-Indonesia in Conversation conference, featuring a partnership with Universitas Gadjah Mada on Indigenous Knowledge. The event included an exclusive tour of the "65,000 Years" exhibition at the Ian Potter Museum of Art and the launch of "The Routledge Handbook of Human Rights in Southeast Asia". Dr Ken M.P. Setiawan and Professor Amalinda Savriani co-edited the handbook, while Deputy Vice-Chancellor Michael Wesley emphasized the university's commitment to strengthening ties with Indonesia through research and education.
