Miku Brings Virtual Concerts to Asian Cities

Published on 7.16.25

Miku, a virtual character developed by Crypton Future Media, will perform in several Asian cities including Bangkok, Hong Kong, Jakarta, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, and Seoul. The character originated as music software that allowed computers to "sing" with lyrics and melodies, but became a cultural phenomenon as a character in itself. Miku has already made sold-out performances worldwide, including Coachella in 2024, and is featured in the game "Hatsune Miku: Colorful Stage!" which inspired an anime movie that had a four-week run in the Philippines.
