A 370-acre development by Northcrest, located east of Rogers Stadium, will host cultural and artistic events as part of its construction. The project's executive director, Mitchell Marcus, plans to engage with local arts partners to create programming for the neighbourhoods being built. This "meanwhile use strategy" aims to make the most of the site before it becomes fully developed, allowing for unique events that wouldn't be possible in Toronto without such a large space.
