Pektaş Team Unearths Byzantine Chapel Remains in Fethiye

  An archaeological project in Fethiye, Turkey, led by Professor Kadir Pektaş, has uncovered the remains of a Byzantine-era chapel near the historic hilltop castle overlooking Fethiye Bay. The excavation, part of the "Heritage for the Future" project, is being conducted in cooperation with local authorities and focuses on both upper and lower sections of the castle.
