Rijksmuseum Displays Ancient Linschoten Sword Discovery

The Rijksmuseum van Oudheden in the Netherlands has put on display a medieval sword, known as the Linschoten Sword, which was discovered by construction workers during maintenance dredging activities in March 2024. The sword, measuring over three feet in length, is estimated to date back between 1050 and 1150 A.D., making it a significant archaeological find.
