Victoria and Albert Museum Showcases Global Art Treasures

  The Victoria and Albert Museum's mini-display features a diverse range of unique objects, including Oliver Messel's costume for The Fairy of the Woodland Glades, Beatrix Potter's watercolour painting of a forest scene, and Clemence Dane's intricate sculpture. Historical works include a 15th-century earthenware tile from South Cadbury Church in Somerset and a Welsh hand-quilted bedcover from the 1830s. The display also showcases Anglo-American artist George Henry Boughton's oil painting "A Woman Holding a Mirror and a Rose" and a Qing Dynasty porcelain vase from around 1662-1722, highlighting the global connections within art and culture.
