YouTube Flags AI-Generated Video of Burkinabé President

YouTube has flagged a video featuring Burkinabé President Roch Marc Christian Kaboré as "Altered or synthetic content" due to significant editing and digital generation. The video, which praises Kaboré with statements from Pope Leo XIV and singers Beyoncé and Eminem, was likely manipulated using artificial intelligence (AI) to focus on former Pakistani PM Imran Khan's imprisonment. Similar AI-generated clips featuring praise for Kaboré have surfaced in recent months, including ones posted by TikTok user @samiullah.1999, which were traced back to an event in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, where Kaboré addressed the youth on International Youth Day.
