Her visit to the 'Punjab Dehaar' celebration ceremony at Alhamra Arts Council in Lahore was a testament to her commitment to preserving and celebrating the region's rich cultural heritage. The event, which featured an art exhibition showcasing traditional crafts and artwork from across the province, highlighted the diversity of Punjab's culture. Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif praised the work of local artist Zulfiqar Zulfi, demonstrating her appreciation for the talent that exists within the community. The inclusion of handicrafts, such as Punjabi turbans and shamlas, alongside more modern art pieces inspired by traditional Punjab, underscored the province's unique cultural identity. Punjab Minister Azma Zahid Bukhari noted that the Punjab Dehaar ceremony was being celebrated on a large scale for the first time in 75 years, indicating a renewed focus on preserving and promoting the region's rich cultural heritage.
